Cute picture I found when I was checking out Sustainablog. The picture goes along with a great blog post by Justin Van Kleeck: Myths of Environmentalism. He makes some really good points about the myths surrounding environmentalism, the three most common being costliness, gloominess, and smugness. A great read!

Flung from SIGG100.com.

Fling it girl because SIGG who has long been hailed as the perfect reusable alternative to plastic bottles is celebrating their 100 year anniversary. In doing so they have launched a dedicated site that will last through Earth Day on April 22nd. SIGG is partnering with Laurie David’s organization, StopGlobalWarming.org, to explore 100 Significant Eco-Moments in the past century. Visitors to the site will have an opportunity to win a trip for 2 to Hawaii to attend the 5th annual Kokua Festival headlined by Jack Johnson. Also stop by the site for live chats with environmentalist like Simran Sethi who is hosting a Q&A session tomorrow morning(3/13) at 9:00 a.m. PST.
